Since 1971...

Borgo Dora is a family company born in Turin in 1971 and still today leader in the territory for the production of salami, fresh and cured meats.

We have a huge product range that offers cooked hams, raw hams, salami and typical regional specialties with an excellent integration between technology and respect for traditions.

Almost 7,000 square meters and 30 cellers for the production and storage of our delicious salami and hams.

The best balance between quality and price with a strong focus to the needs of each customer.

To date

Today Borgo Dora is one of the main companies in the sector in Piedmont and boasts leadership in the production of fresh sausage. The factory has currently a covered area of 5,800 m² and an uncovered area of 1,100 m², 28 cold rooms (850 mq) and more than 40 employees. Production lines are:
– Fresh sausage
– Cured meats
– Cooked / roasted meats (cooked hams, stewed beef, roasted turkey breast, stewed bacon, roast pork etc.)
– Selection and serving of pork meat

Quality Control & Certifications

The quality of the products is guaranteed by the careful choice of suppliers and raw materials. An accurate selection of the cuts is made following traditional recipes that enhance the taste.

Behind the Borgo Dora wide range of products there are huge investments in technology, know-how and staff training, to obtain modern manufacturing processes in order to control every production phase according to high quality and hygienic-sanitary standards.


In July 2017 the company implemented the Quality Management System obtaining the FSSC 22000 certification which includes ISO 22000: 2005; ISO / TS 22002-1: 2009 and the additional FSSC 22000 requirement.

Our goal is to guarantee the quality of the products and services constantly, confirming our seriousness and care in every production step.


Our production, inspired by the Italian tradition and combined with modern technologies, is based on highest quality ingredients and  simplicity.

Gluten and Dairy Free

All our products (more than 100) are gluten and dairy free.

All incoming raw materials are scrupulously checked and Salumificio Borgo Dora does not use ingredients containing gluten.
